Question 1

How do I let my Twitch viewers submit clips?

Accepted Answer

Open clipq.tv and type your channel name. ClipQ reads your Twitch chat straight away, and any clip link someone posts joins the queue. There is nothing to install and no account to make. You only prove the channel is yours — by typing a code in your own chat — when you want an OBS browser source, a submission page or a collaborator.

Question 2

What sites does ClipQ support?

Accepted Answer

Twitch clips and videos, YouTube videos, Kick clips, TikTok, Instagram, and X posts including video. They all play in the same queue, one after another.

Question 3

Does ClipQ work with OBS?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Settings gives you a browser-source URL that shows only the player, synchronised with the queue, so it joins mid-clip if the source reloads. Add it to OBS as a Browser source at 1920x1080 with 'Control audio via OBS' ticked.

Question 4

Is ClipQ free?

Accepted Answer

Yes — free forever, with no account and nothing to download. There is no paid tier and no trial. ClipQ is built by Grimfoss, and there is a Ko-fi link if you want to support it; that is the whole of it.

Question 5

Can moderators control the queue?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your Twitch mods run it from chat with !mod commands, and they get their own controls in ClipQ after proving the channel. Moderation carries over from Twitch itself: when a mod deletes a message or bans someone in chat, ClipQ removes that person's clips from the queue automatically.

Question 6

Can two streamers share one clip queue?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A collaborator's chat can feed the same queue, and playback stays synchronised between both streamers, so a collab watches the same clip at the same moment.
